Spring U-bolt nut, rear spring to rear spring seat

 	Remove/install
1	Secure vehicle against rolling
2	Jack up vehicle and support vehicle frame	 The vehicle must be unloaded.
3	Remove rear wheels	 Only on side from which spring is to be removed.	AR40.10-W-1100A
4	Lift both rear axles until spring (7) is relieved of load	 Use a jack or inspection pit lift.
5	Prop rear axles
6	Remove spring U-bolt (5) and spring seat (6)	 Installation: Use new nuts (10).

7	Remove nuts (9) from rubber mounts (8, 11)	 Installation: Use new nuts (9).

8	Remove bolts (1, 2) together with bracket (3) and spacer sleeves (4)
9	Remove rear spring (7)	 Installation: Lightly grease mounting hole for center bolt with leaf spring grease.	*BR00.45-Z-1020-06A
10	Install in the reverse order
