Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove rear wheels

Unhook the exhaust system from the rear rubber retainers (6 pieces), lower and secure to prevent it from falling down

Detach torsion bar (77) on link rods (78)

Unscrew retaining bracket from bracket (77d) of torsion bar (77) on rear axle carrier



Take off torsion bar (77)

 Detach rubber mount (2c), check and replace if necessary

 Do not use grease or antifriction agent.



Checking

Check link rods (78) for wear and damage

If necessary: 

Detach/attach and replace link rod on rear axle.
