Pre-requirements:
For the transference of the parameters stored in the vehicle drive control unit (FR), the following conditions must be met:
Battery voltage: 24 V to 26 V.
The supply of electric power to the Star Diagnosis computer must be ensured for a longer period than the total required.
During the transfer:
no other program can be started,
no on-board diagnosis can be made,
the engine can not operate, and the start-up can not be actuated, and
the vehicle battery can not be disconnected.
If the stored fault parameters of the vehicle drive control unit can not be used (FR), the parameters must be retrieved by the FDOK for the new vehicle drive control unit (FR) and manually recorded.
Save the parameters of the vehicle control unit
1 - Turn on the ignition.
2 - Start the diagnosis assistance system (DAS) and access the "Truck" sector.
3 - Access "Series Automatic Access" and confirm with key F2 .
4 - Access "Control Unit Direct Access".
5 - Access "vehicle drive control unit - FR".
6 - Access "Control Units Adaptations".
7 - Access "Control Units Change".
8 - Follow the system's instructions.
The parameters of the control unit are transferred to the Star Diagnosis and there they are temporarily saved.
9 - Turn off the ignition.
Leave the Star Diagnosis connected.
Transfer the parameters and teach-in the vehicle drive control unit (FR)
10 - Turn on the ignition.
11 - Start the transfer of the parameters with the key "F2 " in the STAR DIAGNOSIS.
12 - Follow the system's instructions.
The parameters temporarily saved in the Star Diagnosis are transferred to the new vehicle drive control unit (FR).
13- Access "Control Unit adaptations" in the "FR Drive Control" control unit.
14 - Access "Reprogramming Procedures" and star the respective reprogramming procedures.
15 - Follow the system's instructions.
