1 | Turn key in ignition lock (electronic ignition switch control unit) to position "0" | ||
2 | Remove left cover below instrument panel | ||

4 | Unlock and remove front cover (1) | The front cover (1) is engaged at three points (arrows) in the rear cover (2). To unlock, lift up the notches (2a). | |
5 | Unclip voltage distributor (CAN) (3) on the front cover (1) and take out the front cover (1) | ||
6.1 | Remove pedal assembly (4) | When removing the rear cover (2) | |

7 | Unlatch and remove rear cover (2) from the pedal assembly (4) | The rear cover (2) is engaged at four points in the pedal assembly (4). To unlock, open the catch webs (2b). | |
