1 Install shift rod (5), insert the two washers (3) and secure the shift rod.
Slide the shift rod into the bearing bracket so that the thread for the shift lock contacts the side opposite the stop lug.

2 Coat sealing ring (1) with lubricant and install.

3 Install the bearing bracket so that the notch on the shift tower and the stop lug on the bearing bracket are on the same side.

4 Install shift shaft (4) with sealing ring.

5 Remove shift lock (2) with spring and ball.
