1 Install needle roller bearing.
2 Install balls in synchronizer cone (3).
3 Install synchronizer cone (3) with the balls on the outer cone.

4 Place assembled synchronization on the drive gear with the oil pockets downwards.
5 Remove synchronizer ring (2).

6 Press assembled gear set onto the drive shaft using drift .

7 Install retaining ring (1) and determine axial play between the drive plate and retaining ring
In order to achieve the permissible axial play, retaining rings are available with different thicknesses.
