4 | Remove shifter interlock (3) | ||
5 | Remove selector lever with cover and range carrier | Slacken lock nut (4) Installation: Align selector lever so that the bend face the front. | |
6 | Remove optical stationary seal strip (5) of shift gate illumination | ||
| Double leg spring (6) is under tension | ||
7 | Release and remove clevis (7) | ||
8 | Release and remove shaft (8) | ||
9 | Remove gasket (9) | ||
10 | Clean all parts, check and replace if necessary | ||
11 | Assemble in the reverse order | Installation: Apply coating of long-life lubricating grease to bearing points |
