2 | Press down the quick adjuster (1) using a suitable tool until it latches | To open and unlock the quick adjuster. Before adjusting, the range selector cable must be clipped on the transmission and on the floor shift | |
3 | Move selector lever and range selector lever to position "D" | ||
4 | Unlock housing tab (arrow) using a suitable tool | The quick adjuster (1) closes and traps the shift cable. If the selector lever sticks or is difficult to move, repeat the adjustment procedure | |
5 | Install ashtray in front center console |
