2 Retaining clip
3 Plastic sleeve
4 Adjusting knob
5 Cup seal

1 | Remove windshield washer fluid reservoir | ||
2 | Push up plastic sleeve (3) by unlocking the retaining lugs and disconnect shift lock cable | ||
3 | Remove bottom sections of noise encapsulation | Only front underbody paneling | |
4 | Detach shift lock cable (1) on transmission from shift lock lever | Installation: Check retaining clip (2) and replace if necessary. | |
5 | Press plastic clip (arrow) out of brake pedal bracket | Press retaining lugs on plastic clip together. | |
6 | Detach shift lock cable (1) from brake pedal bracket | ||
7 | Unfasten cup seal (5) and pass shift lock cable (1) through firewall | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Adjust shift lock cables |
