1 | Switch touch shift to position "P" | Ignition: ON | |
2 | Disconnect negative terminal of battery | Ignition: OFF | |
3 | Remove driver's seat | ||
4 | Switch actuator motor to position "P" | ||
5 | Remove locking device for ball head (2) | ||
6 | Detach selector lever control cable (3) from actuating lever (4) | ||
7 | Disconnect plug connectors X3 and X4 | Installation: Secure cables with cable straps. | |
8 | Unscrew hexagon bolts (5), remove washers (6) and self-locking nut (8) | Installation: Replace self-locking nut | |
9 | Remove actuator motor and segment switch housing (1) pulling upwards at an angle | Press bracket (7) for actuator motor and segment switch housing apart slightly | |
10 | Loosen hexagon bolt (9) on actuating lever (4) and pull off actuating lever | ||
11 | Unscrew hexagon bolts (10) and remove housing cover (11) | ||
12 | Unscrew three hexagon bolts (12) | ||
13 | Take out actuator motor (13) with segment switch (14) | ||
14 | Disconnect contacts (15) | ||
15 | Unscrew hexagon socket bolts (16) | ||
16 | Remove segment switch (14) from actuator motor (13) | Check components and replace if necessary | |
17 | Install in reverse order |
