Remove

Remove main components of transmission

AR27.50-S-0610E



Disassemble

Remove retaining ring (105s) and end disk (105)

Remove clutch packs (5) and disk spring (5t)



Check

Check clutch packs (5) for scorch marks and wear.

Depending on findings



Replace affected disks

Place assembly device onto disk spring (21t) and tension until retaining ring (21s) is exposed

Remove retaining ring (21s)

Remove assembly device

Remove disk spring (21t) and piston (21k) from external plate carrier (21a)



Check

Check sealing ring (arrow) and thrust faces for damage and swirl marks

Depending on findings



Replace damaged components



Assemble

Install piston (21k) into external plate carrier (21a)

Insert disk spring (21t)

 Insert disk spring (21t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the piston (21k).

Place assembly device onto disk spring (21t) and tension until groove of retaining ring (21s) is exposed

Install retaining ring (21s)


Check for correct installation position of retaining ring (21s).
If installed incorrectly, the disk spring (5t) jams.

Remove assembly device

Install disk spring (5t) and clutch pack (5)

 Insert disk spring (5t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the piston (21k).

Install end disk (105).

Install retaining ring (105s)



Measure

Measure and adjust clearance
