Remove planetary gear set 3 (1) from ring gear (2).

Unclip axial bearing (3) from planetary gear set 3 (1).

Check axial bearing (3) for damage.

If damage is visible,



replace axial bearing (3).

Unclip axial bearings (4, 5) from ring gear (2).

 Assembly: Check if axial bearings (4, 5) are in correct installation position. The axial bearings (4, 5) must be flush to one another when installed.

Check axial bearings (4, 5) for damage.

If damage is visible,



replace corresponding axial bearing (4, 5).

Assemble in the reverse order.
