Remove/install

Remove automatic transmission oil pan

Release and disconnect electrical connector from connection (1)

Remove safety clip from connection (1)

Release, disconnect electrical connector (3), and detach electrical wiring harness from guides (4)

Remove bolt/bolts (5)

 Screw, electronic controller unit to transmission

Remove bolts (6)

 Screw, electronic controller unit to transmission

Remove bolts(7)

 Screw, electronic controller unit to transmission

Remove screws/bolts (8)

 Aid of helper required.

 Screw, electronic controller unit to transmission

Remove bolt (9)

 Aid of helper required.

 Screw, electronic controller unit to transmission

Push connection (1) downwards out of automatic transmission and remove electronic controller unit


Carefully remove electronic controller unit downwards.
Otherwise, the electronic controller unit will be damaged.

 Aid of helper required.

 Installation: Check electronic controller unit is correctly seated.

Release, disconnect electrical connector (10), and remove connection (1) from electronic controller unit

 Installation: Replace connection (1).

Install in the reverse order

Read out and erase fault memory


