Disassemble/assemble

Remove electrohydraulic controller unit (10).

Remove all control solenoid valves (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20).

Unscrew bolt (3a).

 Assembly: Replace bolt (3a).

 Bolt, timing case to electrohydraulic controller unit

Remove bolts (3b).

 Bolt, timing case to electrohydraulic controller unit

Remove control unit (12).

 Assembly:
Make sure that the retaining rib, which is located under the output shaft rpm sensor (11), is correctly positioned.
Otherwise, the control unit (12) will be damaged.

 Assembly: Push clamping sleeve (5) from repair kit by hand up to end stop in the timing case (7).

 Assembly: Check shift valve (6a) is correctly seated in electrohydraulic controller unit (10).

If the shift valve (6a) is not correctly seated in electrohydraulic controller unit (10),



remove control unit (12), realign the shift valve (6a), and install control unit (12).



Clean

Clean magnet (6) of shift valve (6a).

 Use lint-free cleaning cloths when cleaning. Chamois leathers are the most suitable.
