Detach boot (2)

 Boot (2) is clipped in.

Shift transmission to neutral

Adjust

Release catches (4) on shift cables (3)

 To do so, operate lock (5) and slide respective catch (4) in direction of arrow.

Fix gearshift lever (6) in place using adjusting tool (7), as shown



Inset adjusting tool (7) up to end stop.
Otherwise, shift quality will be impaired.

Lock catches (4)

 To do so, slide respective catch (4) back into locking position.

Remove adjusting tool (7)



Check

Perform function test

 Check shift mechanism for proper operation and ease of movement.

If necessary,



repeat adjustment procedure.


