P26.60-A003-05
1 | Push shift module (25) in center position all the way downwards, then let shift module (25) come up to approx. 33 mm (dimension A) and then shift towards transmission breather (26L) to enable 2nd gear to be engaged. |
Make sure that shift module (25) is engaged in 2nd gear and not reverse gear. |
2 | Fix 2nd gear in place in shift module (25) using a suitable drift (6). |
3 | Check end of shift cable (5E) and shift cable (5) are correctly seated on the shift module (25). |
P26.60-2486-11
4 | Check shift cable (5) and shift cable (4) are correctly seated in mounts (9, 10) on transmission (26). |
5 | Tension adjuster using spring catch (4V) on shift cable (4), to do so pull spring catch (4V) on end of shift cable (4E) in direction of travel against the spring force up to the end stop then secure the spring catch (4V) by turning it upwards (4V). |
6 | Tension the adjuster using the spring catch (5V) on the shift cable (5), to do so, pull spring catch (5V) at end of spring cable (5E) in direction of travel against the spring force up to the end stop and secure spring catch (5V) by turning spring catch (5V) upwards. |
P26.60-2464-06
7 | Release locking mechanism of shift cable (5) and shift cable (4). |
By moving the gearshift lever (1) in the vehicle interior, the locking mechanisms are released therefore, when released, they can exert the spring force required to adjust the cables. |
8 | Fix gearshift lever (1) in place on the center shifter console (2) using suitable drift (3) in 2nd gear position. |
9 | Release adjuster with spring catch (4V) on shift cable (4), turn spring catch (4V) downwards and tension it through the spring force. |
10 | Release adjuster with spring catch (5V) on shift cable (5), turn spring catch (5V) downwards and tension it through the spring force. |
11 | Pull drift (6) out of shift module (25). |
12 | Pull drift (3) out of center shifter console (2). |
13 | Perform functional check of shift mechanism. |
