1.1 Place the oil pump body (1) on the inner oil pump body (2) and measure height (B) with a depth gauge.
For transmissions without case cover for the idler shaft.

1.2 Place the oil pump body (1) and the inner oil pump body (2) on the case cover of the countershaft (3) and measure height (B) with a depth gauge.
For transmissions without case cover for the idler shaft (3).
If a gasket (4) is to be installed, it becomes necessary to place the gasket on the case cover for the idler shaft (3) before performing the measurement.

2 Install the available compensating washer (5) in the gearbox.

3 With the depth gauge, measure distance (A) from the sealing surface on the housing to the compensating washer (5).
4 Calculating the oil pump clearance.
The clearance is the result of subtracting dimension (B) from dimension (A). A 0,00 mm clearance should be obtained. In case of divergence use an adequate compensation washer (5).
