Using a feeler gage, check the “B” clearance between the snap ring (1) and the radial bearing (2). . 

 In case the established value is not obtained, a new snap ring must be assembled, with the appropriate thickness.

 Snap rings are provided following the thickness below: 4.00; 3.95; 3.90 and 3.85 mm.

For transmissions 715.060 the gap between the radial bearing and the locking ring is checked with the primary shaft removed.
