Remove/install

Detach the propeller shaft from output flange (4) and place to one side

 Select procedure according to design and accessibility.

Counterhold output flange (4) with retainer wrench and remove screw/bolt (1)

 Output flange to output shaft

Remove thrust plate (2) and O-ring (3) from output flange (4)

 Installation: Replace O-ring (3).

Pull output flange (4) off output shaft (6)

 Installation: Warm output flange (4) to approx. 80 °C and slide onto output shaft (6).

Check radial shaft sealing ring (5) for damage and wear

If wear or damage is present:



Replace radial shaft sealing ring (5).
