Remove

1

Remove propeller shaft from power take-off.

 See information from body manufacturer.

Remove output flange (5) while counterholding output flange with retainer wrench (8).

 If it is difficult to remove, use a puller.

Remove cap (2).

 Collect transmission oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (3).



Install

Install radial shaft sealing ring (3) using drift (9).

 Coat sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (3) with lubricant.

Install cap (2) with new seal (1).

 Screw/nut, housing cover to housing

Install output flange (5).

 If it is difficult to install, heat output flange (5) to approx. 85 °C.

Fit pressure disk (6) and tighten screw (7).

 Counterhold output flange (5) with retainer wrench (8).

 Bolt, output flange to output shaft

Attach propeller shaft to power take-off.

Check transmission oil level, correct, if necessary.
