 Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of transmission oil. Health risk caused by swallowing transmission oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove

Remove release bearing

Remove bolts (1) and remove end cover (2)

Use suitable tool to pry out radial shaft sealing ring (3)


Carefully pry radial shaft sealing ring (3) out of end cover (2) using a lever.
The end cover (2) will be damaged otherwise.



Install

Clean bearing surface of radial shaft sealing ring (3)

Assembly cleaner

Check bearing surface of radial shaft sealing ring (3)

Moisten new radial shaft sealing ring (3) with transmission oil



Gear oils (Sheet 235.10)

Install the radial shaft sealing ring (3)

 Drift

Check for correct seating of radial shaft sealing ring (3)

Install end cover (2) and tighten bolts (1)

 Replace seal.

 Bolt, front end cover to transmission housing
