Remove

Remove front axle shafts

Use suitable tool to remove left radial shaft sealing ring (2) and right radial shaft sealing ring (3) from transmission (1)


Do not damage sealing surfaces on transmission (1).
Leaks can occur otherwise.



Install

Install new, left radial shaft sealing ring (2)

 The left radial shaft sealing ring (2) must be fitted flush to the transmission (1).

Install new, right radial shaft sealing ring (3)

 To do so, install new, right radial shaft sealing ring (3), as shown, with protective sleeve (4) included in delivery package. Do not remove protective sleeve (4). The right, radial shaft sealing ring (3) must be fitted flush with the transmission (1).

Install front axle shafts

Pull protective sleeve (4) in direction of arrow

 Protective sleeve (4) locks on front axle shaft. The green marking (5) must be visible, as shown.

If the green marking (5) is not visible.


