Do not remove hydraulic lines from gear cylinder (1). | |||
3 | Disconnect electrical connections (2, 5) | ||
4 | Remove neutral position switch (S9) | Neutral position switch to transmission housing | |
5 | Remove cap (4) | Installation: Replace cap (4). | |
6 | Shift transmission to neutral | If gear control defective | |

Shift transmission using adapter from vehicle tool kit into neutral. | |||
7 | Detach circlip (9) from shift shaft (8) | ||
8 | Remove air line (6) from gear module (3) | ||
9 | Detach bleed line (7) from housing of power-assisted gear shifting solenoid valve 1 (Y68) and power-assisted gear shifting solenoid valve 2 (Y69) | Only with transmission 715.570. | |
10 | Remove bolts from gear module (3) | Gear module at transmission | |
11 | Pull gear module (3) out of transmission | ||
12 | Rotate gear module (3) through 180° upwards and remove | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and coat with sealant. | |
Loctite 5203 sealant | |||
13 | Install in the reverse order |
