Manually change gear on transmission (2)

Remove cap (1) from transmission (2).

Turn shift shaft (3) using screwdriver to position (B) or position (C) until the shift shaft (3) latches noticeably into place.
By doping so, a gear is shifted on the transmission (2).
If the shift shaft (3) fails to engage:
Turn transmission input shaft additionally by hand until the gear engages.

Manually shift to neutral position on transmission (2)

Turn shift shaft (3) using screwdriver to position (A) and by doing so, shift transmission (2) into neutral position.
After installation, shift transmission (2) back to neutral position. Otherwise malfunctions may occur when performing teach in for the shift mechanism.
