Remove/install front engine supports

Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Secure vehicle on the lifting platform

 Position arms of lifting platform in such a way that fender liners in front fenders can be removed.

Lower engine with front axle carrier

Raise engine  with motor crossmember

 Raise engine until engine mounts no longer bear weight of the engine.

Unscrew bolt (12) of the transmission oil line

On vehicles with automatic transmission



Remove bolt (2)



Unscrew bolts (11, 3 pieces) and remove the left engine support (10)



Install in the reverse order
