Swivel tensioner pulley of clamping device (4) downwards; block with a suitable pin if necessary and remove fan poly-V belt (3) from the tensioner pulley of the clamping device (4)

 Installation: Inspect condition of poly-V belt of fan (3), replace if necessary.

Observe poly-V-belt routing plan.

Swivel tensioner pulley for clamping device (4) downwards; block with a suitable pin if necessary and remove alternator poly-V belt (5) from alternator belt pulley

 Installation: Inspect condition of poly-V belt of alternator (5), replace if necessary.

Observe poly-V-belt routing plan.

Disconnect electrical line (7) at electrical connector (6)

Remove bracket (8) for fan drive

 Installation: Screw fabricated assembly pin into the lower bore in the camshaft sprocket cover.

Pay attention to different bolt lengths (10, 11).


