Remove/Install

Open the bottom right rear maintenance flap of the vehicle

Raise vehicle.

Remove the engine compartment paneling below the radiator unit

Risk of injury to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid.

Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Drain hydraulic fluid

Detach the return pipe (2) from the hydraulic oil cooler (3)

Collect hydraulic oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Installation: Clean sealing surface. Replace seal.

Detach the feed pipe (1) from the hydraulic oil cooler (3)

Collect hydraulic oil which flows out in a suitable vessel.

Installation: Clean sealing surface. Replace seal.

Detach the hydraulic oil cooler (3) from the radiator frame (4) and remove it in the downward direction

Detach foam insulation (5) from the hydraulic oil cooler (3)

9

Install in the reverse order
