2 | Remove the engine intake air duct upstream of the air filter | ||
3 | Detach hood cable (2) at coupling (3) | ||
4 | Unscrew bolts (43) at front end cross member (40) | ||
5 | Expose clips (41) at front end cross member (40) | ||
6 | Remove radiator retaining clip (42) | ||
7 | Detach couplings at fanfare horns | ||
8 | Detach electrical clutch from ATA [EDW] hood switch (S62) | Only for USA version code 491, Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW]), code 551 | |
9 | Expose electric cables at front end cross member (40) | ||
10 | Remove radiator crossmember (40) | ||
11 | Separate plug connection of engine fan/ 100 °C temperature switch (X15) | ||
12 | Unhinge electric fan (1) at top of radiator and take out towards the bottom | Installation: Insert retaining lugs of electric fan (1) into the mounts on radiator. | |
14 | Install in the reverse order |
