Remove/install

Drain coolant at radiator

Remove poly-V belt

Unclip coolant pump switchover valve (Y133) and place to one side

Disconnect electrical connection for coolant thermostat heating element on thermostat housing (7)

Detach vacuum hose (3) on coolant pump switchover valve (Y133)

Unlock retainer (5) downwards

Detach coolant hoses at coolant pump (4) and at thermostat housing (7)

 Check condition of coolant hoses and clamps; replace if necessary.

 Hose clamp pliers

Remove screw/bolts (1) and pull out and remove coolant pump (4) together with thermostat housing (7) from cooling duct (6)

 Bolt, coolant pump to oil pan

Install in the reverse order

Check cooling system for leaktightness
