Remove/install engine oil cooler

Remove/install

 Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Loosen nut on top fastening (3) on engine oil cooler (2) holding frame



Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Unscrew oil line at oil line (6) connection and oil line at oil line (7) connection



 Set of stop plugs

Unscrew nut on bottom fastening (5) and bolt on bottom fastening (4) from engine oil cooler (2) holding frame



Separate the cable tie from electrical connections at engine oil cooler

 Installation: Install new cable ties.

Take out engine oil cooler (1) with holding frame (2), removing downwards

Install in the reverse order

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check for leaks with engine running

Check engine oil level, replenish oil if necessary
