Remove

 Danger

Risk of death when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC)

Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.

Remove protective cover (5)

Disconnect electrical connector (2) at ignition coil module (T2)

Remove screws (3) and remove bracket (4)

Remove screw/bolts (1)

Remove ignition coil module (T2) towards front (arrow) from spark plugs

 Long wedge

Check connectors (6) and springs for damage, corrosion and deformation, replace if necessary:




Carefully pry off connector (6) using plastic wedge.
Do not damage rubber covers of connectors (6).



Install

Attach ignition coil module (T2) to spark plugs and uniformly press in

 Ensure connector (6) is correctly seated.

Screw in screws (1) until screw head is in contact with ignition coil module (T2)

Further screw in screws (1) alternately until ignition coil module (T2) is in contact with cylinder head so that free of tension

First tighten bracket (4) at ignition coil module (T2), then at cylinder head cover


Install bracket (4) so that free of tension.

 Screw/bolt, bracket to ignition coil module

Tighten screws (1)

 Screw/bolt, ignition coil module to cylinder head

Attach electrical connector (2) to ignition coil module (T2)

 Ensure electrical connector (2) is correctly seated.

Install protective cover (5)

 Catch tabs must engage audibly.
