Risk of explosion due to escaping combustible gas or overheating of gas cylinders.Risk of injury caused by burns to skin and eyes. Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.

Disconnect the electrical connectors (6) of the ignition coil (2)

 Observe spark plug cables for correct installation.

 Check spark plug cables for possible damage, if necessary replace them.

Remove the bolts (1), the nuts (5) and the washers (4)

Remove ignition coil (2) from support (3)

 Remove ignition coil from support by pulling it straight up. Do not force the ignition coil back and forth during removal. This can cause damage to the spark plug, the insulator of the spark plug or ignition coil.
