Remove/install

Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and perform quick test.

Only when exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit (A60) is replaced.

Select "Control unit replacement" and follow the instructions.

When exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit (A60) is replaced.

Control unit replacement is completely menu-assisted under:
ACM - exhaust gas aftertreatment (A60)

Control unit replacement

Installation: Follow instructions for "Control unit replacement".

Switch off ignition.

When exhaust aftertreatment (ACM) control unit (A60) is not replaced.

Disconnect electrical connector (1) at aftertreatment control module (ACM) (A60).

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from exhaust gas aftertreatment control unit (ACM) (A60).

Remove exhaust gas aftertreatment control unit (ACM) (A60) from bracket.

Install in the reverse order

Link aftertreatment control module (ACM) (A60) and exhaust gas aftertreatment unit via VeDoc center.

Only if exhaust gas aftertreatment unit (3) will also be replaced in addition to aftertreatment control module (ACM) (A60).
