Remove

Remove filter housing (8)

Remove O-ring (7)

Remove frost protection membrane (6)

 Catch escaping AdBlue® with a dry clean cloth and dry off.

Remove filter element (5)

 Remove filter element (5) through light turning and pulling.
Catch escaping AdBlue® with a dry clean cloth and dry off.



Install

Push vent (11) into hole provided in filter housing (8) until it engages with audible click

Only if the vent (11) has not already been preassembled in the filter housing (8) and instead is provided separately.

Install air filter element (5)

 To do this place filter insert (5) over the pin (3) and press in all of the way.

Place frost protection membrane (6) over the filter element (5) on the connecting body (2)

 The groove on the connecting body (2) must be free of dirt and foreign objects.
The sealing bead (9) must sit cleanly circumferentially in the groove on the connecting body (2).

Spray sealing bead (9) of the frost protection membrane (6) circumferentially with lubricant


Always use prescribed spray as a lubricant.
Otherwise the EATS may be damaged.

Spray thread (10) on connecting body (2) with lubricant

Insert O-ring (7) into the intended groove in the filter housing (8)

 The groove must be free of dirt and foreign objects.

Attach filter housing (8) together with the O-ring (7) on pump module (1)
