Risk of burn injuries and scalding when working at AdBlue lines and the components attached to them. Risk of injury to skin and eyes when handling AdBlue. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing AdBlue

Only pour AdBlue into suitable containers. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Detach protective cap on valve (6)

If there is still a valve cap and protective cap on pressure reservoir (4) in the previous version a valve cap in a new version must be installed. The new valve cap possesses an inner seal and is installed without a protective cap.

Drain pressure reservoir (4)

Press valve (6) until pressure reservoir (4) has been completely drained.

Remove housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4)

Install

Clean housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4) and pressure reservoir housing (3) and inspect for damage

Replace housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4) if necessary.

Install housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4)

Clean contact surfaces for O ring (5) using clean rags and water.

Coat O-ring (5) before assembly thinly with lubricant.

Always use the specified lubricant and make sure that it is applied extremely sparingly since otherwise it may damage the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Inflate pressure reservoir (4) with compressed air

Check housing cover (7) for signs of leaks
