Remove/install

Remove brake fluid reservoir (6) and position outside working area.

 To do so, remove retaining clip (5). Do not remove lines from brake fluid reservoir (6).

Remove vacuum reservoir.

Remove bracket (4).

 To do this, remove screws/bolts (3).

Remove line (7).

Remove bracket (9).

 Remove screw/bolt (8) to do this.

Remove screw/bolts (2) .

 Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to bypass flap

 Bolt, exhaust gas recirculation line to charge air line

Remove exhaust gas recirculation line (1).

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces, replace seals.

Install in the reverse order



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
