Remove

Remove air compressor from engine.

Hold the air compressor in a bench vice.

Lock air compressor drive gear (179) using special tool locking device (180).

Remove drive gear lock nut (181) in clockwise direction.

Remove drive gear (179) from the compressor using two jaw puller (182) and tighten its centering pin.



Install

Install drive gear (179) and lock nut (181) to the air compressor shaft.

Lock air compressor drive gear (179) using special tool locking device (180) in a bench vice and tighten the drive gear nut in anti-clock wise direction.

Remove air compressor from bench vice.

Install air compressor to engine.
