1 | Remove engine trim panel | ||
2 | Remove engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler | ||
3 | Loosen poly-V belt (1) | In order to slacken the poly-V belt (1), turn tensioning device (2) in the direction of the arrow and use a 4-mm drill bit for locking. | |
4 | Remove poly-V belt (1) | ||

5 | Inspect belt pulley sections and tensioning device (2) for damage and dirt | Installation: In the event of damage to belt pulley or tensioning device (2), these must be replaced. | |
6 | Check poly-V belt (1) | Installation: In the event of wear and tear or damage, poly-V belt (1) must be replaced. | |
| Check visible area of poly-V belt for wear | ||
| Install | ||
7 | Fit on poly-V belt (1) | Do not use belt wax or any similar products. | |

8 | Install engine charge air channel upstream of charge air cooler | ||

9 | Carry out engine test run | ||
