Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove

Remove lower engine compartment paneling

Disconnect oil lines of engine oil cooler on crankcase and place to one side

Release clamping device (2) counterclockwise and lock clamping device (2) using a suitable drift

Remove poly-V belt (3)



Check

Check belt pulley of A/C compressor for damage

If damage is present



Replace A/C compressor

Check belt pulley/vibration damper for damage

If damage is present



Replace belt pulley/vibration damper

Upper guide pulley for poly-V belt (3) of refrigerant compressor for damage

Replace upper guide pulley for poly-V belt (3) of refrigerant compressor

Replace clamping device (2) for fan poly-V belt (3) of A/C compressor

Fit on poly-V belt (3)

Do not use belt wax or similar products.
This leads to slipping of the poly-V belt (3).

 Observe routing diagram of poly-V belt (3).

Pull out drift and tension poly-V belt (3) with clamping device (2)

Mount oil lines of the engine oil cooler at crankcase

 Replace O-rings.
