1 | Open hood. | See information from body manufacturer. | |
2 | Remove screw (6) from shock absorber (5). | ||
3 | Loosen nut (2) on clamping device. | This relaxes the springs (4). | |
4 | Unhook springs (4) from tensioning lever (8). | ||
5 | Move over clamping lever (8) and remove V-belt (1). | ||
6 | Check V-belt (1) for cracks and wear. | If problems exist, | |

Replace V-belt (1). | |||

7 | Place V-belt (1) on belt pulleys. | ||
8 | Hook springs (4) into tensioning lever (8). | ||
9 | Screw on nut (2) until the shock absorber (5) is attached and the screw (6) can be screwed in. | ||
10 | Attach shock absorber (5) to tensioning lever (8) and tighten screw (6) slightly by hand. | ||
11 | Screw on nut (2) until the adjustment dimension (A) is set on the shock absorber (5). | The adjustment dimension (A) is the dimension from the center of screw (6) to the center of screw (7). | |
