Remove

1

Remove charge air line from check valve to throttle valve actuator

Remove screw/bolt (1)

Remove screw/bolt (2)

Loosen screw clamp (3) until charge air line (4) and charge air line (5) are rotatable

Remove charge air line (4) from additional compressor

Remove charge air lines (4, 5) and boot (6) from check valve (7) and remove upward

7

Loosen screw clamp (8) and remove boot (6) from charge air lines (4, 5)



Install

8

Install new O-rings on check valve (7) and additional compressor

9

Install new boot (6) between charge air lines (4, 5)

10

Attach charge air lines (4, 5) and new boot (6) to the check valve (7) first and then to the additional compressor

Screw in bolts (1) and tighten

 Screw, charge air line to check valve

Align the marking (arrow A) of the new boot (6) with the marking (arrow B) of the charge air line (5)

Tighten screw clamp (8)

 Screw clamp, boot between charge air lines

Screw in screw (2) and tighten

 Screw, charge air line to timing case

Tighten screw clamp (3)

 Screw clamp, boot between charge air lines
