Remove sealing rings (1a, 1b) from the grooves of the charge air hose (2).

The connection fitting (3a, 3b) and grooves of the charge air hose (2) with clean, lint-free rags carefully.

Insert a new sealing ring (1a) in the groove of the charge air hose (2).
Observe installation position and do not insert sealing ring (1a) twisted. Do not apply any oil, grease or other lubricant. Leakage can occur otherwise or the charge air hose (2) can slip on the connection fitting.
The circumferential groove (1n) in the sealing ring (1a) must point outwards.

Insert a new sealing ring (1a) in the groove of the charge air hose (2).
Do not insert sealing ring (1) turned around the wrong way. Do not apply any oil, grease or other lubricant. Leakage can occur otherwise or the charge air hose (2) can slip on the connection fitting.
