Remove/install

Remove the steel cable (5)

 Access for maintenance and repair work execution vary according to the body type/manufacturer. For buses and special vehicles, refer to the body builder instructions.

 Installation: Screw the nut until the steel cable (5) is stretched, but free of tension.

Remove the hose (4)

Notes on the installation of charge air hoses downstream of the charge air cooler

 Installation: Do not invert the hoses. The black hose (4) must be assembled in the link between the air after-cooler and the air distribution (3) and the red hose between the air after-cooler and the turbocharger.

Remove the support (9) from the air distributor (3)

 Do not remove the tubes (10).

Remove the support (7)

Remove the bolts (6, 8)

Unfasten the clamp (1), disconnect and remove the manifold (3)

 In order to avoid the penetration of impurities, protect the charge air manifold and after-cooler air mouths.

 Installation: Replace the O-ring (2).

Install in reverse order

 Supercharging air/charge air cooling pipe
