Remove/install

Tilt cab

 Installation: Only tilt back cab after the leak test.

Disconnect ground line of battery

Remove exhaust gas ATL

Remove exhaust flex pipe (1) on turbine wheel housing (2)

 Installation: Replace clamp (3).

 Screw/bolt, clamp of exhaust corrugated tube to turbine wheel housing

Remove exhaust flex pipe (4)

Remove exhaust pipe (5) downstream of turbine wheel housing (2)

Remove charge pressure line (6)

 Clamp of boost pressure line to transmission housing

 Banjo bolt, boost pressure line to transmission housing

Expose electrical line (7) on bracket (8)

Remove bracket (8)

 Installation: First place all screw/bolts on bracket (8). Subsequently tighten screw/bolts on crankcase and then the screw/bolts on turbine wheel housing (2).

Remove turbine wheel housing (2) from transmission housing (9) and take off

 Screw/bolt, turbine wheel housing to transmission housing

Remove seal (10) and sealing ring (11)

 Installation: Replace seal (10) and sealing ring (11).
Coat sealing ring (11) with lubricant.

High-temperature grease

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level at display; correct if necessary

 Observe set engine oil specification in the maintenance system.

Start engine and perform an engine test run

 Allow engine to run at a higher rotational speed.

15

Stop engine and check area around ATL and turbocompound system for leaktightness

 Visual inspection.
