Remove/install

Remove the low pressure EGR cooler

 Installation: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.

Remove screws/bolts (1, 2)

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (1, 2).

 Screw/nut, exhaust gas turbocharger oil lines

Remove screw/bolt (3) and pull oil feed line (4) out of bearing housing of the ATL (5)

 Installation: Replace screw/bolt (3).

 Screw/nut, exhaust gas turbocharger oil lines

Seal connections using suitable stop plugs

 Record plug

Unscrew screw/bolt (6) and remove oil feed line  (4) on the timing case cover (7)

 Installation: Replace the screw/bolt (6) as well as the O-rings.

Seal connections using suitable stop plugs

 Record plug

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary


