Remove/install

Remove rear and center section of lower engine compartment paneling

Remove trim panel (1) for left firewall

Unfasten oil dipstick guide tube (5)

 Unfasten oil dipstick guide tube (5) until the upper screw/bolt (3) is accessible.

 Bolt for oil dipstick guide tube fastening

Disconnect electrical connection at the exhaust flap switchover valve (Y93)

Mark vacuum hoses (2) in color and detach

 Installation: In order to restore the assignment of the vacuum hoses (2) for installation.

Check vacuum hoses (2) for crack formation and replace if necessary

Remove lower screw/bolt (4)

Release upper screw/bolt (3)

 Unfasten lower screw/bolt (3) until the exhaust flap switchover valve (Y93) can be removed.

Remove exhaust flap switchover valve (Y93) downwards

10

Install in the reverse order

 Oil level sensor, oil pressure sensor
