Remove/install

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (2) and unclip electrical wiring harness from air intake line (1).

Unscrew screw (3) and remove low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation differential pressure sensor (B28/18) from air intake line (1).

Remove hose (7).

 Installation: Replace hose (7) with clamps and wet with lubricant.

Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l

Remove vent hose (5) from air intake line (1).

 Installation: Check sealing ring of vent hose (5), replace if necessary.

Unscrew bolt (4).

Open clamp (8).

 Installation: Replace clamp (8).

Remove air intake line (1).

 Installation: Replace compensating ring.

Install in the reverse order.
