2 | Remove trim panels of cylinder head cover | ||
Bolt for cylinder head cover trim panel on cylinder head | |||
Bolt for trim panel on charge air distribution pipe | |||
3 | Disconnect electric cables which run past mixing chamber (1) | Tie straps which are separated when removing, must be fitted again at the same position when installing. | |
4 | Detach the hose from the charge pressure sensor (B5/1) to the mixing chamber (1) | ||
5 | Detach the charge air hose (2) from the mixing chamber (1) by unlatching the securing clamp (3) | Installation: Check the sealing ring (4) and replace it required. Ensure the exact seating of the securing clamp (3). | |
6 | Detach the mixing chamber (1) from the bracket (5) by unscrewing bolt (6) | ||
7 | Detach the mixing chamber (1) from the charge air distribution pipe (7) by unscrewing bolts (8, 9) | ||
8 | Take out mixing chamber (1) | Installation: Clean sealing surface and install new sealing ring (10). | |
9 | Install in reverse order |
