Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

Open locking clips (2).

Actuate lock (3), remove engine air intake duct downstream of vent filter (1) and seal openings with protective covers.

Installation:
Do not crush sealing ring between exhaust gas turbocharger (4) and engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (1).
Parts of the crushed sealing ring can damage the exhaust gas turbocharger (4).
