1 | Remove cylinder head cover trim | ||
2 | Remove intake air duct upstream of air filter | ||
3 | Detach vent hose for crankcase ventilation system (1) on engine air intake duct (6) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) on pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/5) | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from vent line heater element (R39/1) | ||
6 | Unclip vacuum hose (4) on engine air intake duct (6) | ||
7 | Loosen hose clamps (5) and detach engine air intake duct (6) | Installation: First mount engine air intake duct (6) on the sealing ring (7) otherwise the sealing ring (7) can be pinched. Parts of the pinched sealing ring (7) may then damage the turbocharger. | |
Installation: Check the sealing ring (7) for damage; replace if necessary. Check hose clamps (5) and engine air intake duct (6) for damage; replace if necessary. | |||
